The best price is on this black/red design

Kask's Mojito X is a very popular helmet with a subtle profile.

Kask's Mojito was initially developed with Team Sky, way back when the team was first launched. Since then, the helmet has been tweaked to add an ECO leather chin strap and updated graphics. What hasn't changed is the excellent fit that the helmet gives.

Plenty of screen for apps like Training Peaks and Strava Live Segments.

If you're trying to reach a particular fitness level before a big event later in the year or you just want to pace your local climb better, then having the right data can be a massive help.

The 1030 also gives you brilliant apps to use for following training sessions and chasing KoMs. The Training Peaks app allows you to follow created structured training sessions. You get a countdown into and out of each interval and a clear picture of the power figures that you need to be hitting. The Strava app makes chasing your favourite KoMs much easier with a clear indication of your live position compared to the current leader. The only thing we’d suggest is to avoid chasing a KoM held by a pro. It’s depressing how quickly they go, especially on the climbs!

Up to 40% off Castelli Alpha RoS Cycling Jacket

Castelli Alpha RoS Jacket
£124.00

Back in the good old days, there were heavy winter jackets and light summer wear. Now though, the lines have been blurred slightly and you'll probably find yourself using a jersey like this throughout most of the year.

The best price is on this khaki green and orange.

While our picture-perfect view of the summer is of endless warm, sunny days, the reality of warming up for a race in a sports centre car park or waiting for the start of a sportive in the cold air of an early Sunday morning is rather less rosy.

Huge 50% off Castelli Perfetto RS LS

Castelli Perfetto RS Jacket
£90.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

This jacket is one of the new-style garments that bridges the gap between summer and winter kit. The protection that it offers makes it great for rides in foul weather, but if the sun should come out, you won't overheat thanks to the breathability. We find the breathability to be particularly useful when riding in the hill as it'll keep you warm on a descent, then once the climbing starts again, you won't start to bake.

Castelli has used Gore Windstopper X-Lite fabric that gives the protection against the wind. That allows your core to keep itself warm and it's a great way of shutting out the wind when wearing a thermal jersey that has no windproofing.

40% off Proviz Reflect 360 Windproof Womens Cycling Jacket

Proviz Reflect 360 Womens Jacket
£56.99

If you ride through a town or city to work then chances are that you wear your office clothes while on the bike. We do, and the issue that we find is that rain jackets designed for performance road riding don't fit that well over normal clothing. In a relaxed commuting position, many jackets are far too tight around the chest.

The fabric is super-reflective and where most jackets rely on sections of reflective print, the Reflect 360 has the reflective material all over the jacket.

30% off Fulcrum Racing Quattro 40mm Carbon Disc Wheelset

Fulcrum Racing Quattro 40mm Carbon Disc Wheelset
£839.00

The general trend in wheel and tyre choice amongst road riders these days is to go for something a bit wider and this is something that Fulcrum has spotted and reacted to with the C17 version of their Quattro. We'd advise going for the 25mm or 28mm option as the comfort gains are brilliant with no speed sacrifice.

While racers and those looking to go as fast as possible will be looking at properly deep wheels, the rest of will be best served by a set of mid-depth rims.

40mm is a good depth that combines some aero gains over a box section rim and the stability in windy weather that wheels over 60mm deep lose.

30% off Vitus ZX-1 CR Disc Road Race Bike

The carbon frame gets a geometry that can be made to be racy or sofa-like yet will remain stable whatever you choose. It has been designed to increase your riding efficiency, getting you to the end of your ride with more energy left in your legs.

That’s perfect for both racers and endurance riders as the finish of events usually carry a sting in the tail. Even if the final climb doesn’t look that hard on paper, the preceding hours of riding will be what makes it challenging. If you can save energy there, then the finish won’t be such a problem.

The Shimano 105 groupset provides fast shifting and exceptional braking at a decent weight and very low price. Those 105 level hydraulic brakes have been completely redesigned from the first edition and you get loads of modulation and plenty of stopping power.

26% off Sram Red eTap AXS 2X D1 Groupset

This groupset is more of a shifting and braking kit, with the shifters, brake callipers and both mechs included. It’s incredibly easy to install, with the shifters and mechs being particularly quick to fit.

There are no wires to route through the frame with not only makes fitting a breeze, but it also keeps the front end of your bike very clean.

50% off Le Col Pro Therma Jersey

Le Col Pro Therma Jersey
£67.50

The last few years has seen the development of these hybrid jersey/jackets that aim to provide the protection of a winter jacket with the close fit of a jersey. They generally feature no insulation, or very little, relying instead on you riding hard to keep your body warm.

The Le Col Pro Therma jersey is one very good example and in Wiggle’s sale, it’s down to a brilliant £75.

The 4-way stretch fabric means that it fits brilliantly, with a raised front hem and dropped tail. the material is coated with a durable water repellent that causes water to bead and roll off.
