With changeable weather for most of the year, a mid-weight long sleeve jersey makes a great addition to a cycling wardrobe.

This Specialized Element Sl Race long sleeve jersey is a great example of a simple design with a great fit.

The jersey is made using 3 layers of fabric, the middle one being a waterproof membrane with a additional water-resistant outer shell.

Internally, the fabris is soft meaning that it's comfortable when worn against the skin. In fact, with a light base layer, this should see you though the whole of spring and autumn without issue. A heavier base layer is needed for deep winter rides.

The 2 clour option here are both discounted with out preference being the neon yellow. Considering how dark it's been lately, we're happy to have all the visibility we can get!

36.5% off Lusso's Aero 50 Bib Shorts
£34.99 | WAS £55.00

When you can get a good pair of bib shorts at a great price, you are laughing! These Lusso Aero 50 bibs are a no-brainer at this price.

At the heart of any pair of bibs is the pad. When Sam Shaw tested these back in 2014, he said "the four-layer chamois is a good option for long rides of four hours or more, yet also excels in the comfort stakes when on the rivet, hanging onto the wheel in front at the local chain gang". High praise indeed.

The bib straps must also be supportive to stop the pad from shifting around. The staps here are "wide and trimmed with a soft red accent piece that covers the overlocking" says Sam. That width spreads the pressure of the straps resulting in no discomfot.

One of the biggest plus points for us is the subtle styling. Put these on and you'll be able to wear pretty much any jersey without clashing.

At 36.5% off, we can think of few better investments.

30% off Verenti's 2017 Substance Sora Road Bike
£489.99 | WAS £700.00

Verenti Substance Sora

Verenti produce for brilliant bikes, and at £489.99, this Sora equipped bike is a great deal.

The 4130 cromoly frame is specifically designed for commuting, with a stable ride offering the rider more control in heavy traffic. The slightly upright position should also give a lot of comfort when carrying a heavy backpack.

The best feature, for us, is found around the wheels. The disc brakes are ideal for providing more reliable braking, especially for a bike that might, in our experience, not get washed as much as it should do.

The tyres are also a massive plus for us. At 35mm wide, the WTB Riddler tyres are the ideal mix of fast rolling, comfort and grip. When riding in the city, glass, oil and poor surfaces are common, so having the extra rubber to deal with this is high on our priorities list.

That tyre size also opens this bike up to a bit of gravel riding at the weekend!

The deals listed on this page are the best deals on the best cycling products we can find. If you purchase anything as a result of clicking on a deal, Farrelly Atkinson Ltd may earn some commission: on some we do, on some we don’t. Any money that we earn goes in to paying for and its sister sites and ebiketips.
