Review: Tacx Neo 2

Max resistance is 2200W, which even road sprinters won't be troubling. More importantly, the max gradient that this can simulate is 25% and max torque is 85Nm, meaning that steep slopes feel just as they should; really hard!

Tacx describe this as the only true direct drive trainer. That's because the cassette here drives the motor, allowing you to use this trainer independently of a power source. If you want the Neo 2 to drive the motor when you 'freewheel' downhill, then you'll need to be plugged in.

24% off Specialized Allez Elite 105 2019 Road Bike

The Neo connects via both ANT+ and Bluetooth so you can use this with a number of devices. It's a brilliant trainer that is well worth grabbing while it's under a grand.
