While there might not be any sportives for us to actually go and do, they’ll be back soon so this is the perfect chance to get yourself a new bike before your event.
We’ve been back on eBay, looking for the best new and new-to-you sportive bikes and here’s what we found.
We start with one of the best women's specific road bikes on the market.
The Canyon Endurace WMN CF SL Disc is absolutely ideal for club rides and sportives with a comfortable and lightweight carbon frame that features an excellent geometry.
This model comes with a Shimano 105 groupset, DT Swiss E 1800 tubeless-ready wheelset and Schwalbe Pro One 28mm tyres.
The R872 is one of Ribble’s classic models and this frameset has proved massively popular over the years.
This Limited Edition model comes complete with a few nice carbon upgrades to the finishing kit.
An Ultegra R8000 groupset provides slick shifting that’s ready to take on hilly events.
The Cannondale Synapse was designed to tackle the broken cobbled roads of the Spring Classics.
But with a relaxed geometry and plenty of compliance, what Cannondale actually designed was a brilliant bike for our local lanes. Thanks, Cannondale!
On this model, you get a mechanical Ultegra groupset with hydraulic disc brakes and wide Continental tyres.
Like the Synapse, Giant’s Defy was initially designed as a race bike for the Classics. And like the Synapse, it has proved excellent for sportive riders.
This is a brand new 2020 model, complete with the latest Sram Force eTap AXS groupset. It looks absolutely amazing with very tidy integration at the front end.
The bike rolls on Giant’s own tubeless-ready wheels and tyres.
This Canyon Endurace CF SLX has been heavily upgraded with some very fancy parts.
The wheels are now AX Lightness carbon hoops which save a whole load of weight and provide you with a wide tubeless-ready rim for comfy and fast tyres.
The Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset has been customised with smaller 46/30 chainrings for a sub-compact setup that makes hellishly steep hills easy(ish).
We just had to include a titanium option as so many road.cc readers, including Editor Tony love them.
This is a slightly older model Lynskey but it still boasts a terrific ride quality and a solid build.
There’s not long left on this lovely bike so get your bid in now.
