Kicking us off is one of the best race bike deals that we've seen.

This AIR 9.0 is perfect for fast club runs, the chaingang, and the local road races.

The aero frame is finished with a Shimano 105 groupset and mid-depth Vision Team Comp 35 wheels making it very comfortable up at higher race speeds while remaining stable in stronger winds.

Boardman AIR 9.2
Was £2,150 - NOW £1,749

Boardman AIR 9.2
£1749.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

Stepping up slightly in price brings us to the AIR 9.2.

The excellent carbon frame and for are the same as the 9.0, but here you upgrade to Shimano's latest Ultegra R8000 11-speed groupset.

That might seem like a minor change, but for us, the benefits are worth it, with lighter shifting and increased power from the brakes being very welcome on casual and full-gas rides alike.

Boardman SLR 9.0
Was £1,500 - NOW £1,249

Boardman SLR 9.0
£1249.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

Boardman's SLR bikes have won a few editions of road.cc's Bike of the Year Awards thanks to their brilliant frameset and sensible price.

This 9.0 model, with Shimano 105 5800 groupset, Vision Team Comp 30 wheels and Fizik Antares saddle is no different. You're getting a properly good bike for your money.

The SLR is suited best for the climbs and this would be perfect for those that like to head into the hills or tackle hilly sportives.

Boardman SLR 9.4

Boardman SLR 9.4

If you can splash a bit more cash then you can get the brilliance of Di2 on the SLR frame.

This model comes set up ready to climb with a 50/34 chainset and 11/30 cassette.

Boardman SLR 9.4 Disc
Was £3,200 - NOW £2,899

Boardman SLR 9.4 Disc
£2899.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

Disc brakes are slowly converting us roadies and we're certainly among those that have embraced the change.

It may have taken us a while but when you use this Ultegra R8070 Disc Di2 groupset you realise just how far the technology has come.

The disc brakes are particularly good when heading down steep descents, saving you nervous energy for heading back up!

Boardman SLR 9.6
Was £3,600 - NOW £2,999

Boardman SLR 9.6
£2999.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

If you're after a taste of superbike heaven, but without the bitter aftertaste of the price, then we'd strongly suggest having a look at the SLR 9.6.

An Ultegra R8050 Di2 groupset gives you superfast shifting and the 50/34 chainrings combine with an 11/30 cassette to offer a great climbing gear for the steep stuff.

To top off an excellent build, Knight's 35mm carbon tubeless wheels are shod with 25mm Vittoria Corsa G+ tyres.

Boardman SLR 9.8
Was £5,700 - NOW £3,999

Boardman SLR 9.8
£3299.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

Lightweight riders are the ones that benefit the most for the lightest bikes as they're a higher proportion of our overall weight.

This SLR 9.8 is dripping in some of the lightest kit available. Sram's Red eTap removes the gear cables, making this a very clean build.

Zipp's 202 clincher wheels pair perfectly with the Vittoria Corsa G+ 25mm tyres for blistering attacks on the climbs.

Boardman SLR 9.8 Disc
Was £5,900 - NOW £4,499

Boardman SLR 9.8 Disc
£3299.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

If you can stretch your budget then we'd highly recommend going for the disc version of the 9.8.

The build is identical, with Zipp's excellent Service Course SL finishing kit and 202 carbon clincher wheels.

The disc brakes add a tiny bit of weight, but they vastly improve the handling and allow you to hit the brakes later before corners.

Boardman ADV 9.0
Was £1,650 - NOW £1,399

Boardman ADV 9.0
£1399.00
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

While road bikes are great fun, it's not hard to see that adventure bikes offer a huge amount of versatility while still being fast.

The ADV 9.0 features a triple butted 6061 aluminium smooth welded frame that keeps weight low and durability high.

Sram's Rival 1X groupset provides a reliable and wide spread of gears while the tubeless ready 650b wheels are shod with 50mm Clement MSO tyres for great performance on and off-road.
