Up to 50% off cycling rain jackets - stay dry in the rain
Friday, June 19, 2020 - 11:22
As the UK has shown over the last few days, the summer showers can be incredibly heavy.
It’s really worth getting yourself a cycling rain jacket if you want to head out when rain looks likely. They are usually designed to be rolled up and stored in your jersey pocket while the rain isn’t falling and then deployed quickly when the heavens open.
Merlin Cycles has a wide range of jackets, with options suitable for relaxed riding through to close-fitting aero jackets.
For commuters, the Altura Nevis would be a great pick at £40. It is waterproof, has four pockets for your keys and phone, and offers a relaxed fit that is designed to have layers worn underneath.
Looking for something a little more race-focused? This Castelli Pro Fit Light rain jacket is designed to fend off the heaviest rain without flapping around in the wind.
The Torrent Stretch fabric allows loads of movements too, so you won’t feel restricted.
