So let's have a look at some of the best stuff we've found in the 2nd week of the year.

43% off Castelli Nano Flex Pro Omloop Bibshorts

As cyclists, we love to buy jackets to keep our torsos warm. But what about those poor legs?

Castelli have come up with these beauties, the Nano Flex bib shorts. Designed to keep your big, working muscles warm.

The shorts take their name from the first 'proper' race of the season, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, where the weather is always decidedly grim.

The professionals wanted shorts that would protect the big working muscles, including the glutes. They needed them to fend off rain and cold for optimal performance.

40% off Cycliq Fly 12 Full HD Camera and Light - 163.99

Cyclinq Fly 12 HD Camera & Light
£163.99
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

The saving grace of many a cut-up cyclist can be found in the Cycliq Fly 12.

Unfortunately, most riders have experienced some shoddy road use, either when you're in the car, or on the bike.

If you've seen road.cc's "near miss of the day" videos, you've probably seen footage from a Cycliq camera. The footage quality is excellent, even at night, and provides you with a wide view with loads of detail.

The audio is also quite good, so we'd recommend refraining from using any strong language!

Park Tool CB-4 Chain Cleaner - £9.98

Park Tool CB-4 Chain Cleaner
£9.98
Commerce content is independent of editorial, and Farrelly Atkinson earns commission from promoted products

Want a properly clean chain? This is the stuff you need.

With the racing season just around the corner, we're hurridly cleaning our bikes to eek out every bit of speed.

One of the products that we swear by is the CB-4 cleaner from Park tool. It is a concentrated cleaner that can turn the blackest of chains back to silver.

Just a little squirt onto a rag is all thats needed to get the worst off, but we prefer putting a little bit into a cut off bidon then getting into the links with a paint brush.

47% off The North Face Borealis Backpack - £44.94

The North Face Borealis Backpack
£44.94

Here at Deal Clincher HQ, we use backpacks daily when riding to work.

Even if you're not riding to work, having a backpack that works well makes daily life a lot easier.

Most important for us is a good laptop compartment. In the Borealis, the laptop compartment is fleece lined for a little extra bump protection. There's also a similar compartment for a tablet too.

The main compartment features many useful organisational compartments and the whole bag will take 28L of kit.

Speedplay Zero Pedals Down 33% - £99.99

Speedplay Zero Chromoly Pedlas
£99.99

These Speedplay Zero pedals are renowned for sorting out all sorts on knee problems.

Offering a low stack height and massive float, these are immensely popular pedals.

There are 2 major benefits to this pedal system. The first is that the dual sided design makes clipping in seriously easy. That's not only great for commuters, but also for crit racing where missing a pedal on the start line can lead to a lot of effort to get back up to the front of the bunch.

The biggest benefit, however, and one that attracts many riders to this system is the extensive and completely customisable range of float that comes with one set of cleats.

32% off Sidi Wire Carbon Vernice Shoes

Sidi Wire Carbon Vernice Shoes
£218.00

Fancy some new shoes for the new season? These Italian slippers are a fine example.

With a stiff carbon sole, Techno-3 dials and a wide array of colours, we can see why they're such a propular option.

The shoes, according to Dave Arthur, provide "supreme fit, comfort and stiffness". Dave took a look at these back in 2015. Interestingly, he gave these a better review than the newer Sidi Shot. You can read his full review here.

The deals listed on this page are the best deals on the best cycling products we can find. If you purchase anything as a result of clicking on a deal, Farrelly Atkinson Ltd may earn some commission: on some we do, on some we don’t. Any money that we earn goes in to paying for road.cc and its sister sites off.road.cc and ebiketips.
