Shimano's range of shoes is vast, covering pretty much all riders.

These, the RP3 are aimed at the recreational and sportive cyclists, so pretty much everyone. They feature a glass fibre reinforced outsole with a smart-looking upper that includes an offset strap for pressure dispersion.

Over at road.cc, Dave Atkinson had a look at the bigger brother, the RP9. He loved them and lots of the technology trickles down to this model.

Giro Synthe MIPS Road Helmet - £160.99

Giro Synthe MIPS Helmet

Wearing a helmet is a contentious debate right now. Part of the reason is that not all helmets meet the same safety standards. MIPS is a system that aims to add safety, this time to an already brilliant helmet in the form of the Giro Synthe.

This helmet is vented, yet still, it's claimed by Giro, very aero. Whilst we can't confirm this, we do know that the helmet is very good, thanks to the review from Mat Brett on the non-MIPS helmet.

At a 36% discount, we don't think sock will last long, especially with the new road season fast approaching.

Proviz Nightrider Rucksack - £42.13

Staying safe whilst riding home at night is certainly made easier when your whole back is illuminated.

This Proviz Nightrider rucksack is made from a high vis material with plenty of reflective paneling.

The rucksack isn't just a bright bag. It's also got a great support system in the back and shoulder straps, making lugging heavy loads home much more comfortable.

The 30L capacity should take everything you need whilst the waist strap holds that load firmly in place.

The deals listed on this page are the best deals on the best cycling products we can find. If you purchase anything as a result of clicking on a deal, Farrelly Atkinson Ltd may earn some commission: on some we do, on some we don’t. Any money that we earn goes in to paying for road.cc and its sister sites off.road.cc and ebiketips.
