With the beautiful scenery showcased by the Tour de Yorkshire, Bikecation thought they'd show us the best places to stay!

There's also a little race going on in Italy and it goes through Rimini on stage 12 on the way to Imola.

We know the roads around Rimini, so we're really excited to share this one with you!

A cycling holiday doesn't have to take you abroad, there is plenty of amazing riding to discover in the UK too!

The Tour de Yorkshire showed us all that spectacular riding can be found up North with incredible scenery.

Bikecation have highlighted the Rendezvous Hotel as an ideal base for a short cycling holiday.

The hotel is located within riding distance of Fleet Moss, Col de Buttertubs and Grinton Moor. This makes it ideal for riding the road of the 2014 Tour de France as well as the Tour de Yorkshire.

The hotel has secure bike storage with daily maintenance available for both you and your bike.

Italy Week 2018 - 2.jpg

The Adriatic coast is home to a load of brilliant cycling.

We were there for road.cc's Italy Week and the Giro will also be visiting later this month.

The riding is fabulous, with a really nice mix of flat, rolling and hilly terrain opening this destination up to a huge range of cycling abilities.

From Rimini, you're within easy riding distance of the Tuscany and Marche provinces. Romagna is a lovely province itself and offers some incredible food!

There is also the Principality of San Marino to explore which makes for a great day on or off the bike.
